How Our Journey Began
Peter Mullaney, Cameraman and Editor based in Donegal, Ireland.
I was born in the picturesque seaside area of Mullinasole, Laghey in South - Donegal. Inspired by stunning sunsets, and rugged coastlines, I picked up a camera at a young age. I developed a wild mind and formed a disciplined eye for light, , colour and an understanding of composition, and framing I knew filmmaking was not just my passion but a career I was keen to pursue. I attended GMIT School of Design and Creative Arts studying the Film & Tv course for Three Years. I hold a BA in Film and TV. I specialised in three areas of film and TV production: Cinematography/Lighting, Audio and Documentary. I am the founder of the video agency ; Mullaney Media. We are a creative video agency that specialises in online promotional videos and live events for the commercial, retail and public sector. We have produced many promotional videos for companies in Donegal over the years. Some of my clients include Hanna Hats, Magee Clothing, Donegal Local Development Company (DLDC), Foróige, HSE, KN group. I am working with businesses in North–West of Ireland and also nationwide, in offering my services in relation to producing online videos for their businesses. I have had my video work showcased on RTÉ’S Nationwide. I have just filmed & directed a 20 minute Historical Film, entitled: ‘The Story of Ancient Drumhome’, which celebrates the life of St. Colmcille during his 1500 Anniversary celebrations in 2021, and a host of iconic Irish Saints - St Patrick and St. Bridget feature prominently throughout the film . I am skilled in many areas of the creative process of the Audio – Visual industry, such as camera, lighting, editing, post sound production and journalism. We use the highest of industry standard broadcast cameras, lighting and audio. At Mullaney Media we will travel anywhere to produce video content. I‘m passionate and driven to provide the highest quality of video content for clients to showcase their businesses . We set high standards when undertaking video projects.
